The 5th Ever

EITZMANN & FRIENDS FOOTBALL CAMP

SAT. AUG 3 AT HARVARD STADIUM

A fun day of skill development and non-contact competition for players entering 6th, 7th, or 8th grade.

In 2003, Chris Eitzmann, a recently retired NFL player and former Harvard Football Captain, organized a youth football camp in his home community of Chester, NE. Chris invited his former teammates to help coach. He was able to keep it going the following summer before moving on to business school, a career in finance, and starting a family. Those first two camps were great experiences for the players and the coaches — who cherished the chance to reconnect and have some fun teaching the great game of football.

Chris passed away in December 2021 at the age of 44. In remembrance of this great man, his friends decided to bring back the Eitzmann & Friends Football Camp in 2022 and continue his legacy. It’s an opportunity for many who loved Chris to reunite while passing on their knowledge of and passion for the game of football to the next generation of players. And who knows, maybe one of them will follow in Chris’s footsteps and one day become Captain of the Harvard Football team.

FOOTBALL, FRIENDS, & FUN

Camp takes place at historic Harvard Stadium, where campers will enjoy a rare opportunity to develop their skills and learn the game on the legendary field where Chris and his friends went to battle as Harvard Football teammates back in the ‘90s.

CHRIS EITZMANN

Chris was an irreplaceable friend, proud father, and devoted husband. He was also the 1999 Harvard Football Team Captain, elected by his teammates. This camp is part of the huge legacy Eitz left.

“Don’t ask for an easier practice, ask to be a stronger player.”
